Tears glistened in Connor's eyes as his heart filled with so much love he thought it would burst.

She was so perfect.

Connor couldn't believe he was responsible for such a beautiful child as he cradled her close in his arms, rocking her for the first time.

His heart melted as her eyes sleepily opened and looked into his own.

Connor vowed to protect her against everything and anything.

He would always be there for her.

For his daughter.

A soft cough had Connor looking at Abby, a smile gracing her tired face. “You'll be the best dad ever, Con.”

Lol, I think he'd be a pretty good one too (if rather bad at the discipline aspect) he's just so young to me still it's odd to see him with a child of his own, even a few years down the line. :)

Yep, I can't see him telling his kid off, he'd be having fun with them instead, though a kid might make his 'grow-up' and take things more seriously.

Abby would definately be the rule enforcer of the family. :D I envision dentical puppy dog eyes when they were in trouble for something.

That is true, that would probably help him ground himself more. Just knowing this person is depending entirely on you for their care and safety. I think it would probably freak him out to some degree, but also make him think twice about doing anything stupid that he might have done before.
