Primeval drabble: The Forgotten

Title: The Forgotten
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Nick Cutter
Rating: 15
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 402: Forgotten. Thanks go to Fred for casting her eye over it.

Nick sat in his strange office and just stared out into the atrium. So many things had changed since he'd stepped into the past and away from her side.

How could no one remember Claudia? She'd been an integral part of the team, the liaison between them and bloody Lester.

It made Nick wonder how many more people had been lost as if they'd never existed due to the anomalies? Forgotten by friends and family, people just moving on without ever knowing they should grieve.

He wondered if any woke in the night, sensing some loss but never knowing why.

Thanks. The muse came up with the idea and it just had to be written, so good to know it worked.

Meep, poor Nick and Claudia and all the others who have vanished... Evocative and very good questions to ponder
