Title: Seeing Clearly Now
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Philip Burton, mentions of others.
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 375: Addiction. For my Making An Impression drabble series. Thanks go to Fred for looking it over for me.
Burton watched silently as the team emerged from the anomaly, from his mistake. He'd been too obsessed, too full of his own ego to see the disaster he'd made. Oh, Helen had manipulated him into following her plans, but it had been his obsession with Connor that had allowed her to do so.
He saw clearly now, all the mistakes he'd made, people he'd hurt and now he'd destroyed the world. Not the epithet he'd wanted.
He glanced at the readings and smiled. Maybe... it might work. At least, he could try to fix his mistakes – or some of them.

Date: 2014-07-18 01:00 pm (UTC)Helen is very persuasive. But now Philip - hopefully! - Philip has a chance to put right his mistakes. (Although he still can't have Connor.)
