Helen just didn't understand Nick. How could he have refused to travel with her.

He had obviously changed over the years. The old Nick would never have helped capture her.

Well, she wasn't just meekly going to submit.

If Lester thought she'd just do what he wanted ...

Oh, she would talk to Nick.

She would even pretend to help.

And then she would leave them standing.

No one was going to take her freedom from her.

She'd managed to survive in the past and future for years.

And no way was Helen about to give that freedom up now.

Ohhh you go Helen! Don't let them keep you where you don't want to be kept! Excellent and wonderful for me to read right now. Thank you! I always look forward to your drabbles and stories.

Very good look at Helen's thoughts at that point.

Nice :) Helen's a conniving little so-and-so, isn't she?

[identity profile] knitekat.livejournal.com 2009-09-13 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
That she is, but she really doesn't want to be there.

Yes, keep your freedom, Helen. Why return to this world when you can travel through time.

Yep, that is precisely how Helen feels.

Thank you, I wasn't sure I could write Helen so this was a little experiment to see if I could.
