Abby smiled as she stood on the bluff and looked out on the immense herd of bison that streamed across the plain.”Look at them James. We're witnessing something no one has seen for centuries. Isn't it amazing.”
James glared at her. “If I wanted to learn about the prehistoric I'd go to the...” His voice faded as he turned away.
“James?” Abby cautiously squeezed his arm.
James sighed and bowed his head. “I promised to take the boys to the Natural History Museum.” His voice was full of bitterness, “but I had to go and look at an anomaly.”
