Title: Never
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, Connor Temple
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 231: I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That). Part of my Making An Impression drabble series and continues from Confidence. Thanks go to the ever-wonderful Fred for looking at it for me.
“Connor?”
“I've almost convinced Burton to trust me.”
“That's good, isn't it?”
“You love me, right?”
“You know I do.”
“I love you too.”
“Connor? What's wrong?”
“I need you to be jealous.”
“I think I proved that the other day.”
“I need you to... well, to hit me.”
“Never.”
“Please, James. I know it will be enough to convince Burton.”
“I might yell at you, Connor, but I will never, ever hit you.”
“He's holding something back, I know he'll tell me if he sees you yell and hit me.”
“I love you, Connor, I could never hurt you.”
