A/N: P100 challenge 194: Naked. Part of my Dreams Of Yesterday drabble series. It is the sequel to Dreams Of Yesterday and continues in Memories, so angsty. Thanks to Fred for looking at it for me.

James slowly reached out to trace her name, the stone cold and rough beneath his fingers.

Tears ran unheeded down his face as sobs threatened to burst from his chest. He couldn't let them out; he feared he'd never stop if he did.

It hurt so much, every day a reminder of what he'd lost, what had been torn from him, stripping him of his armour and leaving him naked, unprotected as the grief gnawed at his heart.

Every day hurt, but today was far worse. It had been one year exactly since she had slipped away from him forever.
