Connor tapped a particular combination of keystrokes, sending his Skyrim Dunmer assassin spinning through his enemies towards the treasure chest and all the goodies inside. He glanced up guiltily whenever he uttered a not-so-quiet cheer before relaxing when no-one stirred.
He froze at the knock on the bedroom door. He swallowed before managing, “Yes?” when the knock was repeated.
"Are you still up?”
“Are you setting me a bedtime?”
“Not at all.”
“Did I wake you?”
“However, I’m leaving at 7am sharp tomorrow and you had better be ready.”
“7am!” Connor squeaked. “But that’s in four hours!”
“Precisely, Temple, precisely.”
