“Welcome to The ARC Bake Off. With the darker nights drawing in, your first task is to make a warming cake. Bakers. Ready! Set! Go!”
Lester decided to ignore his fellow ‘bakers’ and concentrate on his own ingredients. He’d no wish to make a mistake like burning the honey he was caramelising for his burnt honey with apple and ginger cake.
He did pause to check – for his own safety – what Temple was doing and winced when he noticed the chilli powder.
Not that he was going to mention it, after all, the minister was going to do the tasting.
