Primeval Drabble: Leverage
Sep. 16th, 2025 10:59 pmTitle: Leverage
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester
Rating: 18
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 958 – In the Dirt. Idk. More a sideswipe than anything.
There were options for dealing with inconvenient individuals. Those who needed to be silenced, one way or another.
James Lester had made his career out of knowing the perfect leverage to apply, and not all of them were lethal.
Oh, he might know where several bodies were buried, but lethal meant an investigation. In his opinion, a scandal meant they remained silent, too afraid to speak in case their sordid history became newsworthy once more.
Now this Professor Cutter.
If the man proved difficult, there was always the missing wife or a fling with the delectable assistant. Or even both.
