“So, where is this mammoth?”

“He is right there, minister.”

“Lester?”

“Yes, minister?”

“I thought it would be hairier.”

“You did, sir?”

“Your report did say it was a mammoth?”

“Yes, sir. A Columbian mammoth.”

“Does it have something wrong with it?”

“Ms Maitland assures me that M… the mammoth is perfectly healthy.”

“But where is the hair?”

“Hair? Ah, it isn’t a woolly mammoth, sir. M… the mammoth is a different species.”

“That is disappointing, Lester. It looks like a normal elephant. No one would believe it was a mammoth.”

“Isn’t that a good thing?”

“No, Lester. It isn’t.”
