“Why? You’re asking me why?”

“Yes, tell me why. Tell me and maybe I can help you.”

“I tried, but I could stop it.”

“Couldn’t stop what?”

“It starts here. With the ARC. With you.”

“Me?”

“Your experiments effect the world long after you’re dust. Long after humanity and the world is dust. And I can’t allow that.”

“What experiments? I’m not doing any.”

“Oh, not now, maybe. But you will. And I have to stop you.”

“No! Helen! Just tell me what it is. We can stop it together.”

“I’m sorry, Nick, but this is the only answer.”
