“Was that the field team?”
“Sir?”
“On the other end of that phone call?”
“No, sir. Not a sausage.”
“Excuse me?”
“Um… I mean we haven’t had an update. I’ll… er… do you want me to call them?”
“If you would be so kind.”
“Right. On it.”
“Oh, and Lyle?”
“Sir?”
“While you do so, remind them that the Professor takes a dim view of them making the… misplaced wildlife into any form of meat product.”
“James? You do know that means I haven’t heard from them?”
“Perfectly Jon, however, I also know your soldiers. Especially Finn.”
