Lester shifted uncomfortably in his chair and dispensed an equal opportunity glare at his equally gingerly moving and dishevelled staff. “If someone would care to explain last night?”
“Er… We brought some pollen back with us.”
“I believe that is clear from last night’s… events. What I want to know is why the biological decontamination protocols failed to stop it spreading throughout the ARC?”
“The HEPA filters were three years past their expiry, James.”
“For a system installed six months ago? How did they ever get selected?”
“The CEO is the Minister’s daughter’s father-in-law.”
“Excellent. Please get me the Minister.”
