Lester blinked. “Interesting choice, my little Mulefoot.”
“James?”
“Don’t pout, I didn’t realise you were such a fan or that you needed my per… Ah, you mean at the ARC?” He sighed softly. “Am I to assume you have a book?”
“Me?” Lyle gave his best innocent look.
“Yes, you.” Lester barely resisted rolling his eyes before he sighed again. “Fine, my Black Ass Limousin, it might keep certain people out of mischief."
"Oi!" Lyle started before grinning and kissing Lester. "You won't regret this."
"I already am."
