Monty chirped as the box he was in swayed and bumped. He was not happy with the situation and let out a loud trumpet, rearing up as much as the roof allowed before he thumped back down.
He blinked in the bright sunlight as the end opened. He trumpeted again before extending his trunk, what was that smell?
He sniffed deeply, a snort escaping as he slowly emerged. He snorted louder when he felt grass beneath his feet for the first time in far too long.
Grass was good, but the scent of water drew him into his new home.
