The summer holidays started in under a week and James still hadn’t decided where to take his children.

Theme parks had lost any appeal after the Sabre-toothed Tiger incident. Likewise swimming pools and... James shook his head, he wished he could keep his children away from the anomalies or what might come through, red of tooth and claw, but he knew it might be impossible when they could open anywhere.

He nodded, his children had been pestering about a theme park and he would take them.

Everything would be fine.

He had a Sig Sauer P228 and Ryan on speed-dial.
