“The next item is…. Rats? James, surely you don’t require my permission to set traps or hire an exterminator if the ARC has rats?”
“Rats, minister, not rodents.”
“James?”
“Rapid Antibody Testing. They proved invaluable for detecting cases of COVID-19. At some point, an anomaly will open to a historical era and, when that occurs, there will be a risk of the field teams encountering a novel pathogen.”
"What? Have we an infection?"
"No, minister, but I believe in planing for every eventuality and having RATs on hand would be a sensible precaution...”
“Yes! Spend whatever you need.”
“Excellent, minister.”
