“Yours would be too after fifteen calls explaining the same thing over and over again. Bloody bureaucracy! What are you doing?”
“Seeing if you have a temperature.”
“What? Why?”
“I thought you loved bureaucracy? I seem to recall you demanding reports after we’d spent twelve hours in the mud on a Shout.”
“Cutter was very annoying that day.”
“What’s the problem?”
“With Cutt… Ah. It appears I’m encountering some difficulty getting you reinstated amongst the living.”
“You?”
“A mere technical hitch.”
