Nick gasped when he opened the cell door, staring at the man within. He knew this wasn't, couldn't be Stephen.

He shuddered as he recalled hearing Stephen's screams and of being thankful when they had finally ended... Even if they still haunted his nights.

He shook his head, scattering those memories, and stared at the form wearing Stephen's face. He'd lost Stephen once, too stubborn to accept an apology.

Could he turn his back on this Stephen?

Even if he was a mere copy of Nick's Stephen?

Nick knew he couldn't and held out a hand. "You're safe with me."
