I’d never imagined this was how I’d meet my death… Although, maybe it was fate, considering how many times I’d escaped death at their claws.
Not that I'd willingly surrender, no I'd fight until the end. An ending of my choosing. I took a deep breath, wincing as it pulled still healing wounds.
Time seemed to still as I waited for the kill shot.
My shot echoing around the room as the first fell, even as a second loomed in my sights, if only for an instant.
Two shots down, four left and I knew more than three predators remained.
