Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester/Jon Lyle, Sofie (OC)
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 855: Ancient Ruins. Definitely a sideswipe.
Lester smiled and kissed Lyle, holding back a sigh at the gagging sounds behind him.
"Gross, dad."
"Wait a few more years, Sofi," Lyle grinned at their equally shocked looks, before glancing at his itching thumbs.
"Jon?"
"There!" Lyle moved in front of his family.
"Sophie!"
"Cool, dad. Maybe it'll open to Ancient Rome."
Lester shuddered as he recalled the Colosseum's bloodied past. He glared when Lyle quipped, "We could be lucky. You could ask them how they make concrete."
"Bloody RAAC," Lester grumbled, a closed school being the only reason Sophie had joined them on a supposedly safe holiday.
