I woke to a warmth against my back and an arm drapped across my stomach. I admit it was a lovely way to wake, at least it was until I recalled our current situation. Not that there was much I could do about it at the moment and, truthfully, I was far too comfortable to consider moving. Instead I just watched the rain lashing down outside the cave.

I felt the body behind me stir, the arm tense as if preparing to withdraw and said the first thing that occurred to me. "Do you think this is the rainy season?"
