A/N: For P100 prompt 834: Team Meeting. Set in my Cry Wolf ‘verse. Idk.
Lester groaned as he woke. For a moment, just one moment, he considered calling in sick, before shaking his head. He was made of sterner stuff than that; even if he was, admittedly, somewhat slow in getting ready for the day.
He took a deep breath before entering the team meeting. The scrabbling and chaos started immediately. Calls by the military for pre-emptive action shouted down by the scientists demanding further research.
Even worse, when that one finally finished – once again, he breathed a silent sigh of relief, in the status quo – he had a team meeting with the mammals.
