A/N: For P100 prompt 821 Amateur Dramatics. Set in my Smokescreen ‘verse.
I had to bite my cheek hard not to laugh at the minister’s shocked expression as Chrissie and I snipped. Luckily, Chrissie chose that moment to viciously snap at me, dragging my attention back to the plan. I threw myself into my role, immersing myself in the moment, as I had at the OUDS.
Maybe our ranting and raving was a little too enthusiastic. For although the minister hastily intervened and swiftly changed the subject – just as we had planned – the expression on his face showed he expected blood to be split on his expensive, no doubt publicly funded, carpet.
