Maggie was gasping for a cuppa but her phone had been ringing non-stop. She wondered if someone was breeding them, all she knew was she'd had innumerous calls about weird... well, she assumed the size was exaggerated... rats.
“Maggie...”
“I'm goi... Bloody hell, they are big.” It was a pity their vans were out on calls, but on top of the desks should be safer.
Still, she'd never been happier then the door crashed open. “You're late.” Her eyes widened as she took in the well-armed stranger, before she remarked, “Well, tall, dark and handsome, the rats went that way.”
