All of James' detailed plans lay in ruins.

Oh, the day had started well enough, even if their over-excited children couldn't sit still for more than five seconds.

Now, however, they were moving at a crawl, caught in a traffic jam the radio announced was several miles long, while the next junction was even further.

Leaving James trapped in a car with three increasingly bored and frustrated children as he began to run out of games for them to play.

Even worse, if – when – they finally made the airport, he wouldn't be able to drink alcohol on the plane.
