A/N: For P100 prompt 791: "The archaeologists are going to have fun explaining that."
A/N 2: Possibly a bit of a side swipe (I’m blaming covid) and for the bingo prompt: Archaeologists, Anthropologists, Palaeontologists and Physicists.
Connor glanced around the room of furiously yet quietly bickering scientists before asking, “What’s going on, Curtis?”
“Ah, the anthropologists say it is clearly an archaeological find as it was dug up. The archaeologists disagree and say it has cultural significance and is thus anthropological.” Curtis explained in a not quite-hushed enough voice, earning himself a glare from both parties. “Don’t look at me, I’m a physicist.”
“Curtis?” Connor tried again.
“It’s quite simple, lad,” Nick spoke up from the doorway. “No one wants to explain to Lester why it was broadcast to the country on the ten o'clock news.”
