A/N: For P100 prompt 782: Run! #11 of my Cry Wolf verse. And I should proabably make this its own list now (now it has).


A racket surrounded me and I paused outside the conference room, gathering my facade as I watched the antics of my so-called expert team.

They were impulsive, chaotic and undisciplined and would never have been allowed to join an Infiltration team. I recalled my own training, the struggle to suppress my instincts to run down any prey which crossed my path before I’d been allowed through a portal.

Still, I had to admit my team, for all their faults, were brilliant at what they did. If they found out the truth.. No, stopping the excursions was for their own safety.
