Title: Ghost From The Past
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, unnamed
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 773: Ghosts From The Past.
The telephone call in the middle of the night was not welcome, starting me from my well-deserved rest after a difficult week dealing with the irrational minister and his insistent demands. I was at least half-asleep when I answered, before bolting upright at the voice on the other end of the line.
A voice I had never expected to hear again, not after Becker’s report. A voice which caused all sorts of memories to rise in my mind
James? The voice half-asked, half-demanded. Are you still there?”
I gathered my scattered wits before replying, “Dear God, Christine, where are you?”
