A/N: For P100 prompt 766: Back to Square One. I thought I should get back to this, so this is part 39 of my Ice Age drabble series and follows on from Fall Of Civilisations.


I regretted asking Helen about her plan, she looked far too pleased for my liking. I just knew I would hate whatever insane idea she had concocted.


“It’s quite simple, my dear James,” Helen almost purred. “We go back and change events.”


“If it was as simple as that, why haven’t you already done it?” I asked, although I doubted I really wanted to know the answer.


“I tried. I now know why it never worked. I need help. Your help.” Helen leaned forward, trying to distract me with her... assets. “We need to go back, James, and try again.”
