Christine’s day was one problem after another and she was anticipating spending time with her family. To forget all about the minister and bloody Quinn until morning.

Noises from the kitchen had her smiling, her bad mood lifting completely when she caught sight of James and their children, covered in flour and making a mess as they baked cakes. James looked over as she snapped several shots. “Don’t move!”

“Chrissie!”

“Don’t move, James,” Christine repeated, thinking it was a pity it would wreck their plans to send them to anyone they worked with, even if their expressions would be priceless.
