Title: Fireworks
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, Sid and Nancy

Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 757: Fireworks.
Lester fed the pests before shutting them in C… in the guest bedroom. He headed towards his settee, before pausing to collect a snifter of brandy, and pulled out his laptop.
He began to type up his response to the minister’s latest idiotic demand when there were loud whizzes and bangs outside, lights filling the sky over and over again.
Lester groaned as he heard the scrabble of claws and looked down to find both pests cowering against his feet, their eyes wide in panic. He sighed before lifting them up, allowing them to huddle against him as he typed.
