Matt took one last look at his home, at the elders watching him and his father, before he turned to face the anomaly. The thought of what they were going to do...
“Matthew!”
“Coming, father.”
Matt swallowed, gathered his courage and stepped into the unknown, into the past and stopped dead.
He stared around, wide-eyed, at the blue sky and the green, so much green that surrounded them. Plants everywhere and the chirp of birds and insects and so much life. He turned to his father, “Is that real?”
“Yes, Matthew, and it is up to us to save it.”
