“Chrissie?”

“You’ve been gone for over 45 minutes.”

“You also requested breakfast in bed.”

“Oh...”

“Oh?”

“I’m sure it is lovely, but really James, it is ten to seven.”

“So… you don’t want it?”

“Don’t pout, James. You know I’ll never turn down your cooking… Oh, you’ve really pulled out all the stops with this... Mmm, it really is quite excellent. Tea, darling?”

“Chrissie?”

“We’ve got to keep your strength up, James. The children will be on a sugar high after all that chocolate.”

“Oh bl..”

“James!”

“Pass the toast, please.”
