Afterwards, lying legs entwined in bed, James drew Matt into a kiss. “I think I understand.”
“James?”
“The lack of curtains.”
“Does that bother you?”
“I did feel rather exposed, even though I know the windows are one way.”
“I can get curtains if…”
“No,” James cut in. “I rather like lying here with you, watching the stars together after a fantastic shag.” He kissed Matt again, “And after you spent your childhood underground, I’m not going to take this from you.”
“Thank you. People take them for granted, but I was so awestruck the first time I saw them.”
