A/N: For P100 prompt 721: Perseverance. For March’s pariing of month (Danny anyway) and also for Lazy Bingo prompt Determined.


I had promised the day Patrick disappeared that I would find him. That whoever had hurt him would pay... and then the cops left Ryan Mason go. Insufficient evidence.

I knew then it would be up to me and I knuckled down at school (much to my teachers’ surprise) and joined the force. I worked me why up but I still hit a dead end with the case. No matter how hard I pushed.

But now, now I might finally learn the truth. If I could convince the ARC’s guv’nor to take me on. And I would, I had to.
