Primeval Drabble: Wolf In Sheep's Clothing
Title: Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 718: Lizards. Fred’s drabble reminded me of my Cry Wolf and then the muse came up with this...
I leant on the railing and realised I was spending more and more time observing these strange creatures in their ‘natural’ environment.
I’d often wondered how they’d ever managed to conquer this world when they made most of their decisions with their hearts rather than their heads. Not to mention surviving long enough to breed when they were almost psychotically territorial, an over-developed threat display in my opinion. I’d put it down to the lack of scales and them having no teeth or claws worth mentioning.
Still, against my better judgement, I found myself becoming somewhat fond of these mammals.

Just re-read the Cry Wolf; this is a perfect coda to it!

Glad you liked it (and Cry Wolf).
*shivers*? But why, Lester's somewhat fond of his mammals ;)
Thanks for reading.

Hee... that could be interesting ;) (although Connor would have his conspiracy!)
