Title: The Zookeeper
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, Helen Cutter
Rating: 15
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 684: At the Zoo. Set in my Ice Age series and follows on from Damn The Consequences.
Definition - a place that is hectic and lacking order. A place, or the people in that place, variously regarded as lacking order, discipline, refinement, etc.
Lester knew his peers regarded the ARC to be a zoo, his team lacking in discipline. Something he couldn’t really disagree with, even if they were successful in containing the creatures time spat out. The thought that they were all dead, or had never existed… “Fine.”
“Excellent,” Helen crowed.
“I’m not going anywhere in my pyjamas.” He let out a muffled omph when a bundle landed on his chest. He scowled at the clothing and then at Helen, before bowing to the inevitability of wearing them. He wasn’t surprised she didn’t look away while he changed.
“Where are we going?”
