Title: Help
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, Helen Cutter
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 679: May Day or Mayday. A bit of a sideswipe at the prompt. Continues on from In The Quiet Of The Night, the series started with Ice Age.
Lester savoured the Talisker while Helen perched on his hospital bed like some damn vulture… and that was so not an image he wanted. He needed answers, even if he still didn’t trust Helen further than he could throw a Stegasaurus.
He considered her before nodding. “You fucked up and need my help to fix it. You wouldn’t go to this much trouble otherwise.”
When Helen remained silent, Lester sighed, “Turn the light out.”
“I need your help,” Helen grudgingly conceded.
“Now, that wasn’t so painful, was it, although you still haven’t told me what you need my help for.”
