Title: Invisible
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, OCs
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 677: Invisible. Continues from Running A Tight Ship and the series started with Ice Age.
Lester was eager for the consultant’s rounds, the opportunity to discover his prognosis and when he could finally leave these four walls behind.
He struggled to rise when a suited and bearded man entered, pipe clamped firmly between his teeth, surrounded by a swarm of junior doctors vying for attention.
The matron fixed Lester with a stern eye and he was soon lying down again. His questions unanswered, his concerns unheard when she placed a thermometer beneath his tongue. He was silent as well as invisible while his condition was discussed over him in gibberish Temple would be proud of.
