Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester,
Rating: 12

Lester scowled at the woman he was reluctantly sharing a campfire with. “Why should I trust you?”
“Why shouldn’t you?”
Lester smirked at her. “Do you want a list?”
“I’m the one you locked up.”
“Precisely,” Lester agreed, shivering despite the warmth from the fire. He cursed softly when he noticed her noticing, knowing she’d use any perceived weakness against him.
“You should trust me, my dear James, because that is the only way you’ll ever get back home.”
Lester scowled at the fire, she might be telling the truth but he knew better than to trust Helen bloody Cutter.
