Title: Breathless
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 666: Breathless. Sequel to Ice Age.
Lester shivered as peered into the slowly falling snow. He frowned, was that a flicker? He held his breath, hoping, even praying to a god he didn’t believe in that it was an anomaly.
A deep growl had every hair standing on end and he slowly turned, his eyes widening at the large shape sniffing the air before it began to amble towards him.
The flare of an anomaly had Lester fleeing towards it, slipping and scrabbling, gasping for breath as he staggered through. He could only hope the anomaly closed behind him.
That and he ended up back home.
