A/N: For P100 prompt 635: "Time to leave."
Cerise spooned coffee into her mug before hesitating and instead adding decaf to Mr Lester’s. He didn’t need any more caffeine, not with an oncoming migraine. What he needed was to go home but he wouldn’t, not until the team, not until Ditzy was back from the Shout.
She glanced up at footsteps, smiling as the team entered, muddy but whole. Her gaze met Ditzy’s and she raised Mr Lester’s mug.
“Cerise? He’s still here, isn’t he?”
Cerise nodded. “I reminded him it was time to leave three hours ago...”
“Thanks,” Ditzy murmured, sniffing the mug. “I’ll take him home.”
Ditzy sighed when he found Lester surrounded by paperwork. “You’ve worked eleven hours today, sir, and I know the boss hates overtime.”
“True.” Lester’s face brightened, but the pinched look told Ditzy as much as the decaf Cerise had prepared. “But the minister wanted this report yesterday.”
“Not at the expense of a full-blown migraine.” Ditzy squeezed Lester’s shoulder. “Come on, James, time to leave.” When Lester shook his head, wincing, Ditzy added, “I’ll make it a medical call, but then I can’t give you a massage...”
“Fine.”
“I knew you’d see it my way.”
“There’s no need to crow.”

Love Ditzy taking care of Lester, as well as Cerise. Also very persuasive move, no way Lester was going to miss a massage from Ditzy *g*

Ditzy will always take care of Lester and the massage is his secret (or not so secret) weapon. Glad you liked Cerise.
