I was fuming, I hadn’t expected my so-called peers to understand my theories, but for Nick… I shook my head and continued into the forest, needing to clear my head before returning home.
A whinny interrupted my thoughts before scattering them. Oh, I knew what I was looking at… but how could it be here? I followed in scientific curiosity, before staring at the ball of fractured light when the Eohippus disappeared through as if it had never been here.
Did the proof for my theories lie within that ball? I had to know and stepped into the light.
