A/N 2: Definitions: Snow: to deceive, persuade, or charm glibly. Ice: to kill someone (slang).
Lester read the report which had landed on his desk in disbelief, half wondering if his political masters were playing a joke, before he recalled they didn’t joke… not after the last incident.
He might be known as a troubleshooter, sometimes rather literally, but these were civilians he was dealing with. He’d try persuasion first, after all, he prided himself on his ability to convince his opponents of the inadvisability of their position.
Lester rose, glancing at the report about dinosaurs and holes in time, before holstering his weapon. Being ready for anything was something else he prided himself on.
