Ryan lips’ twitched when he noticed Joyce, from one of the labs, furtively hand money to Lyle. “What’s the favourite?”
“Boss?”
He almost snorted at the look on Lyle’s face. “Don’t play the innocent, Jon. You always have at least one book.”
“I… OK. Joint favourites, Lester firing Cutter or the Professor punching him.”
“You counted to three.”
“Ah.”
“Jon?”
“That they’re got UST and… well.”
“UST?” Ryan almost spluttered.
“Unresolved sexual tension.”
“I know what it is. Who came up with that one?”
“Finn.”
“Finn?” Ryan had never noticed any but… “OK, put me down for twenty for UST.”
