As Nick sipped his whisky, his thoughts turning to his last argument with Lester, before he’d been ordered to take bloody gardening leave. He sighed, reluctant to agree with Lester, but he might have been a wee bit stubborn over Stephen. He’d turned his back on Stephen, could he really blame him for turning to the one person who said they supported him?

When the clock struck twelve and the night sky lit up with fireworks, Nick finished his whisky and made his New Year resolution to be less stubborn. To truly give Stephen, to give them, a second chance.
