Title: Merry Christmas
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, Christine Johnson, OCs
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 608: Merry Christmas!/Season's Greetings!
“Ready?” Lester asked his excited children, ignoring the knowing eye-roll from his wife. At their nods, he smiled at her. “Christine? Shall we?”
“Of course, James,” Christine replied, shooting him a look that would have stopped a T-rex, but he was made of sterner stuff.
“Excellent,” Lester said, desperately hoping for an anomaly to opened. The school’s singathon was renowned for all the wrong reasons. He winced as he walked towards the park, the out of tune and time refrains of ‘Merry Christmas’ echoing down the road. He gratefully took the ear-plugs Christine held out and passed back the hip-flask.
