Lester glared at his so-called expert team before waving a piece of paper at them. “Would anyone care to explain this?”
“Sir James?” Jenny ventured, plucking it from his fingers. “Ah.”
Quinn looked over Jenny’s shoulder at the paper. “Oh.”
“Oh, Quinn?” Lester leaned forward. “Is that the best you have? What the hell did you do? Blow up a Christmas pudding factory?”
“Er, no guv.”
“Then how do you explain this bill?”
“The Christmas Pudding in question, Sir James,” Jenny inform him. “Is a thoroughbred broodmare.”
“Ah.”
“It appears Christmas Pudding was… abducted by a dinohippus stallion…” Jenny confirmed.
